But you have changed my life. I cant remember when i found THECOWGODDESS but these comics have helped me through even the toughest times nursing and with the public view of it. Ive been nursing for 3yrs 2 months and a year of that as Tandem. Many thanks.
You changed my life too. I was going to nurse for six months tops (my goal decreased when I encountered so many problems–3 months, another week, just this feeding and I’m done…) yet I ended up nursing my first son for 33 months and my second son for 23 months so far and going strong! So many of the things we do now are so normal to us that I don’t even think of different they are. When my first son was born I was the only one I knew who coslept, breastfed, wore my baby, etc. I felt so alone…but I had your comics and books to remind me why I was doing it all anyway. Thank you!
Another thank you! Your websites/comics helped me realize that I’m part of a community that spans the globe but is thriving right here where I live. I started seeing so many more slings and wraps here around 5-6 years ago, when I was pregnant with my youngest. Now I try to encourage those I see wearing them, breastfeeding, etc. because they probably still do get the nay-sayers more frequently than encouragement.
oh and me and me! i found your stuff back in hipmama magazine. and i couldn’t get enough. even now when i am having a down day i just pick up a comic book and breath a sigh of relief! you have really helped so many mamas. you are so wonderful. thank you

yep, i have felt many times that the way we choose to live and parent is so against the grain of ‘normal’ that it is too dificult to continue and then i think of mama’s like you and i hold up my head and stick out my tounge to ‘normal’ because normal does NOT equal natural!
You’ve definitely helped change my life for the better too! (Not to mention my kids’ lives.)
