Followed by bouts of super-energetic-ness. But sleep is what I really want right now. I keep coming up with fabulous comic ideas and then after a good 12 hours of sleep, what was it? hmmm…can’t remember! so I go off and do something else for a while and then after a nap, I might come up with another good idea, but by the following morning. ooops! It’s gone again! So I did a comic to celebrate how sleepy I am, and all the really good comics that have gotten away. What the heck were they about!?
Oh, and I also keep breaking glasses. About 1 a day. On our ceramic tile floor (I blame that). Sometimes more. At this rate I better stock up!

I’m not even pregnant and I sleep 10 hours a night and still want a nap at 3.
lol… i love sleep, but loved it even more when i was pregnant. growing a baby is hard work.
Weird, I dropped a lot of stuff when I was pregnant too. Drove me nuts.
Switch to plastic. (Or something else unbreakable.) I am clumsy pregnant or not so I never use breakable cups.
LOL I know how you feel!! Im 20 weeks today (yipee) and I still feel like sleeping all day long, I was walking around 4 miles a day (taking DD to and from school) which made it worse but I spoke to them and she rides the bus now!! YAY!! … but I could still sleep like a cat.. and sleep all day long if the kids would let me! we are growing babies, and our bodies need all that energy… do be too hard on yourself, it will get a little better soon… have a great pregnancy:)

P.S. I break stuff all the time even when Im not pregnant!!
I’m 20 wks pregnant and during my first pregnancy switched to using peanut butter jars instead of glasses for the very same reason. Sweet dreams!
I was SO tired with my current pregnancy in the first trimester….I was done by noon! Then most of my energy came back in the second.
My chiropractor gave my an info packet on pregnancy and it said in there that a pregnant woman is supposed to get 16-18 hours of sleep a day! I can barely fit in 10 per day even being a SAHM with a 3 yr old!!
My church pastor said in a sermon on Sunday, “There is nothing more spiritual than a nap!” Sometimes this is how I need to justify and reduce guilt on afternoon naps ;o)
I’m right there with you Heather! That’s all I ever want to do too! Ok, that and wonder why the heck a middle-class American would want to vote for someone who’s only going to give tax breaks to the rich, but that’s besides the point! Unfortunately, with a 2-year-old who has no other siblings to keep her company and a job, I don’t have time to sleep as much as I’d like.
My husband called the 2nd trimester the ‘sleep 15 hrs a day stage’. He seriously underestimated how much sleep I could have gotten if I’d had nothing else to do!
I hate ceramic tile for the same reason.
