Isis was a goddess in Ancient Egyptian religious beliefs, whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world. She was worshipped as the ideal mother and wife, matron of nature and magic; friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, the downtrodden, as well as listening to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats and rulers.[1] Isis is the Goddess of motherhood and fertility.hee hee hoooooooooo.

Just had the first little baby girl in my practise named “Isis”. It’s such fun to ask the mother “How is Isis doing?” Can’t wait to see what she gets up to in her life.
my 11 year old daughter is named Isis…after the Bob Dylan song, but it all leads back to the goddess.

the “Secrets of Isis” tv show DVD set a few months back. Very fun to relive 70’s Saturday morning kitsch, but also neat for him to see a female superhero (the first one with a series on TV) rockin’ the goddess
