LMAO!! SSSOOO true! Hubby even saw this one and giggled!

  • Shlonda

    I just loooove it!!!

  • Get your camera out of my bedroom, Heather. :P Good to know my Milk Monster’s not the only one.

  • Lisa Gonzales

    I totally relate!

  • put a second baby in there (twins!) and you’ve pretty much pictured half of my life in the last 2 years, hehe.

  • The second panel is exactly how my son was sleeping this morning!

  • My husband said you missed the frame where bambino rolls over and starts slapping him and pulling out his chest hair :)

  • Mandy

LOL! I totally wake up with my boob out all the time. Thanks again for another great comic!!

  • LOL! Yes, that’s starting to be the scenario in our family bed too.

  • Yep! just like that :) This night brought to you by the letters “N” and “H”.

  • Mary

Love this so much! (and the letter “N” and “H” comment: kicking mama with feet while punching daddy with hands LOL!) I’m really glad my kids (6 & 4) still come in most nights… I’ll miss them when they get tired of playing sardines in the family bed ;)

  • Just wanted to make a comment from someone well past the family bed era:
For all those who claim bedsharing will ruin ‘marital intimacy’ I’d like to say that if anything, I think it HELPED! After sharing a bed with the family for so many years and learning to be very creative in the where-and-when of our rendezvous, we find having a bed to ourselves again after all these years of marriage is all new and so exciting!
    (We have 6 children.)

You need to add one where LO kicks Daddy in the groin!! My hubby gets kicked there at least once a week by our 4 year-old. My 9 year old apparently decided that she is too old to sleep with mom and dad…sigh…At least we wont have to get a bigger bed when LO#3 arrives in October!!

  • MamaHoldYou

yep this is exactly how we all slept last night (and about every night!) :)

  • Jill

This one was laugh out loud perfection. The comments on this have also been great. :)

  • Julinda

My hubby also always ends up with feet in his groin. I told him he should wear a cup or put a pillow in front of it! My boys have both been such bedhogs, too. I usually am right on the edge of the bed. (Luckily the older one is in his own bed – he rolls, kicks, flings arms, etc.!)

  • The feet in the face one is my favorite. :)

  • My son’s only 4 months, but we still have a lot of those positions!

  • Augusta

Second row–priceless and SO true! I can’t count the number of times I woke up and saw my boob just hanging out there without remembering exactly when it came out and what transpired until I fell back asleep.

  • You have been awarded The Versatile Blogger Award on my site, Kincavel Krosses. Please come and collect it. :)

Warning: I saw an add in craigslist about casting for a new TV show. They are looking for people addicted to strange things… and they listed breastfeeding! HOW can someone be “addicted” to breastfeeding?! Addicted to feeding your kids? Can you be addicted to changing diapers too? I feel compelled to change my baby’s diaper everytime it’s wet or poopy. I can’t stop myself. Do I need help?

Should I say something to them? Boy I hope they don’t paint breastfeeding as an unhealthy compulsive behavior!!!

    Here’s the ad: http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/tfr/1854886916.html

  • Hi Julie,
thanks for alerting us, that email is for the casting company, any complaints should be sent to the production company, though we should complain loud and long. Would you be willing to email the casting company and ask for any information about the network, production company, etc. So that we can start a campaign?
    xox,
    Heather

  • Julie

I e-mailed them saying prett much the same thing I said here.. The response from the production company (20West)was:

“Please don’t fret. If you saw breastfeeding on a list of addictions it is along the lines of:
    http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1925050/benefits_for_adult_breastfeeding_or.html

We fully support normal, healthy, mother-child relationships. Thank you for your input.”

It made me feel better. They aren’t looking for mothers who are nursing their kids. But I’m still concerned about breast feeding being grouped with unhealthy or freakish behaviors.

  • Thank you for looking into it! They should certainly make the distinction between breastfeeding and screwed up in the head adult males looking to get freakishly turned-on by sucklin’ way past their time. I mean come on, two TOTALLY different things, use a different term ;o)

  • Heather B

Add in a 7 year old, and a 5 year old with the baby in the pictures and you’ll have us. :D My 2 1/2 year old still nurses, so yeah.. I’ll find that my boob has been “left out” a lot too.. LOL!

  • Jenny Islander

Heh. My younger two (four and in her own bed next to her sister’s; seven months and in with us half of the night) couldn’t/can’t sleep between us because they both like/d to struummm their fiiiingers uuuuup and doooooown Daddy’s baaaaaack. Alllll niiiiiight. In their sleeeeeeep. Drove him nuuuuuuuuts.

So the baby sleeps half on the sidecar bed, next to me.

  • Jamie Lee

Utterly (Udderly?) Perfect. So many nights we wake up and our son Talon curls his form to fit around my boobies, his dads feet, with a few fingers poking the lips and toes picking for boogers in the nose. Not to mention the sleep-nipple twiddling. That’s usually how I wake up now, shirt up to my chin, one boob hanging out in the wind with Talon pinching milk out of it squirting it mindlessly across the mattress into a growing pool, while the other boob lays half in half out laughing at its partners misfortune not knowing the same fate awaits her in only a few hours.

You know, writing this, if I would have awakened this way before my son I might have been worried. ^_^

  • Haha, Love this!! It’s us exactly!

  • Ha Ha
I think most breastfeeding & bed sharing family can relate to this!

  • This is sooooooooo us!!! I was already smiling when I saw the first picture..!! Wait til I show my hubby on this later! :D

Mind if I share this on my blog?

  • Bwahaha… Your comic and the comments are hilarious! I’m giggling while typing this with my toddler sleeping ON top of me. He’d sleep on his pillow then wake up and crush onto me. Sometimes he bang onto my lips and they bleed. Nevertheless, we enjoy co-sleeping and the nursing sessions. :)

  • Seventeen & Planning

Here, Daddy, have some foot in your face!
