That’s little Ean’s motto. It’s all good. I wrote it with sharpie on his shirt so that every time I look at him he’s saying it.
He has a few things that he really likes to do.
Sleep.
Enormous Explosive poo-farts. (I don’t think he really likes to do these, they just sort of happen ;o)
stare loving-ly into your eyes.
smile.
sleep some more.
all in all it’s a pretty cool life (I’ve even started taking naps again, something that my puritanical background usually doesn’t allow for, everyone must be up! The sun is up! Up Up! Time to get busy!) But even now, I’m thinking perhaps a bit of a nap? And little Ean who is already fast asleep concurs.

So so awesome. Reading the cartoon gave me that warm feeling of love…I gotta go grab my nursling and cuddle!
Of course she is too busy practicing walking to climb in my lap–I miss the itty bitty stage sometimes.
what am i a monk? lol that gave me a good laugh.
nothing beats a good nap. i love naps. i especially love them cuddled up next to a wee babe. oh so good.

hee hee that comic is so true! and you embrace the naps. really, i didn’t with my last one (nearly 7 months old already) and i’m regretting it now! make that babymoon stretch as long as you can.
The “what am I a monk?” comic is my favorite one yet.
This is one of my favorite ones! LOL
LOL, that last comment is exactly how my daughter was!
COMIC!! Not comment. Blame pregnancy brain… and toddler brain… and lactation brain…
I’m totally LOL about writing “it’s all good” on his shirt. that is both hilarious & brilliant.
Awesome as usual. Made me smile and giggle and think bad to those loving days
My littlest is almost 3.
Hurry! Hurry! Has a Winnie-the-Pooh feel to it. To me anyway. I found myself reading it in his voice. Like, “Time for a little smackeral of something.. Oh, bother! Where did that breast go?”
I love that look they get sometimes: “This is the most important thing I have done or ever will do AND NOBODY IS GOING TO STOP ME RAAARHH.” It’s almost as if they know that their main job at this age is to get bigger!
my new baby is like Ean. Daciana is 10 weeks old – already! – and smiles all the time! she was smiling “early” and everyone – even strangers – have noticed (“wow, she is smiling! really smiling!, how old is she?” “only a few weeks old…”)
I credit her wonderfulness to the fabulous prenatal care and love and education I had and the fabulous food I ate – whole food, no HFCS, very little refined foods and lots of organics!
Many Blessings to you and savor those naps!
…and you should make those onsies and sell them ;o) FYI-Target has organic onsies…
