Hi all,

Imagine you want to embroider a quote or motto or pithy saying or song lyric or love poem or activist propaganda or pep talk and hang it on your kitchen wall in a fabulous frame so that it will inspire you first thing every morning and make you happy or thoughtful or energized or brave all the day long. Something you want to remember. What would you embroider?

Dear Mamas (and Papas too),
I have declared this week CRAFT week, or really VERY CRAFTY week. The week started with the last comic, Distract-a-ta-tas, but I didn’t have time to really announce it so it’s kind of starting now. And because my Mother-In-Law is coming today (Hi! Suzanne! – she reads my blog ;o) and she’s sleeping in the office/guest room, and I like to have some wine with her in the evenings and what not and so forth, the next few comics may be slow in coming. though they may not. Because grandma is going to be here and maybe I’ll have all the time in the world! So either VERY CRAFTY week starts now and lasts for 7 days give or take some, or VERY CRAFTY week started a few days ago and really it’s a whole month. And maybe that’s better anyway. I’m a mom, forgive me ;o)

Very Crafty Mamas Read this! The advertising is cheap cheap cheap, the comics are all craft related, and I’ve got a new super fun one coming, jump on board, spread the word, please.

Hey all,
I’m gearing up for a week of fabulous comics that are all craft based and now I’ve come up with a plan…I’m going to offer advertising for all the craft-y mamas who have created things inspired by mama and then some. If you would like to showcase some nipple-hats, or if you’ve embroidered the above quote “it’s either annoying or a herald of summer, it’s up to you,” or a snarky breastfeeding cover that doesn’t really cover anything, then send me an email and we’ll set up a spot for you over on the left sidebar. It will only be $5 a week, $20 a month. Come on Mamas let’s start making some crafts!!!!
