NOPE, sorry, even very pregnant & sick with bronchitis I’m NOT lying around all day! I have everyone ELSE to take care of……. Besides you’d have to stay home a LOT to be able to lie around ALL day, which is something most of us DON’T do!
Hee hee hee love the baby on the head bit! Our daughter always went for the head and sat right down once she got there when she was this age and caught one of us alying down long enough to crawl up onto our head and bounce. Hee heee so cute!
yeah…laying around all day…right….i barely get to sit at meal times! and forget about getting time off being sick! had the flu earlier in the week and got about six hours of sleep that night…DH sick too and two little girls to watch and take care of….got to get better, though, b/c i am doula for a friend soon!!
that book looks interesting. especially as it is becoming clearer i will be re-entering the workforce in the next year or two. i’m worrying about the “hole” in my resume. i think i will be entering in my mothering years as valuable work experience.

mmmm to lie around even for a teensy bit of the day…
haha! Our kids have done the same thing to us. When we are ‘at home’ a lot, I can tell you I get NO rest.

I’ve seen a new book advertised that looks promising for stay home moms. It’s called “What mothers Do – Especially When It Looks Like Nothing”:
