It turns out that as I’m posting the series: Fun Highlights of my First Birth here on Mama-is.com, over on thecowgoddess.com (which happens to be running through classic comics) is right now posting the First Birth series from way back in 2003! Ugh… After they stole my clothes and strapped a monitor to me, I felt like an inmate during my birth rather than a patient. And I didn’t want to feel like either one.

Wow! Did we have the same birth? LOL
“Transition” is exactly the same thing that happened to me. Then when the Dr. got there she had the nerve to tell me to stop pushing because she wasn’t ready…ugh still boils my blood when I think about it. Thankfully I had a beautiful homebirth in February to heal my heart and give me back my confidence in me
