So clever…I like the idea of selling these in Portland…any makers out there? I can imagine our breastfeeding community would get a kick out of them!
Just noticed you use Bad Behavior for monitoring your site. How do you like it?
Wooo! Go mum power! That would be a great clothing range that most people here would like to see. hehe.
That is absolutely hilarious!!
You totally need a “share this” button – with twitter and facebook links! This is an awesome cartoon, and I wanted to “share it.”
As for protecting your own copyright, be sure to make it so that folks can’t right click….
Keep up the good work!
This is so perfect! I wish I had thought of a special breast-feeding hat for my babes.
Thanks for making my day!
that was good, all mothers that brest feed needs to read that, but oh wait! maybe the ones that are still in the dark age needs it worse.
go breast mommies.
I almost peed my pants when I read this comic. HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! And so true. People need to get over it. Our bodies are beautiful and there is nothing to be ashamed of. I’m no nudist, but mommy breasts are built for this natural purpose! I would totally put that cap on my kid >:)
LOVE the nursing cover!
this is SO FANTASTIC!!!!!!!LOVE IT!!!
this is great!!! I wish more women would really do this instead of just reading about it…
what a great message in the comic strip… 36 years ago I was breast feeding and running into people like that.. I had hoped things had changed but they haven’t , how sad is that!
A friend sent me a link to this cartoon and said that it was so me… and she is right… you totally nailed me on the head… I recently knitted a breast hat for my baby who is due anyday now, so that the hospital staff will remember to not give him bottles! I love your cartoon!
Oh man, this is too great.
I would love to ask our local newspaper to run this. How might I go about that? The paper has a “hotline” where people can call in anonymously and recently someone was upset about a mother breastfeeding a baby in a sling, while supervising her other children in a local park. I’ve written a letter to the editor and would dearly love to have this to go with it!
Awesome! I wonder if my kids need new knitted hats for this Fall.
That is hilarious! I would totally buy both the boob hat and the boob bib!
Instead of a PDF, why don’t you charge a little more to make it into an iron on transfer? (Can you do that?) Or sell t-shirts. I’d buy one in a girl T or an XL men’s shirt for my husband.
Very funny!!
Hi all,
Shirts and totes are on the way, I’ll have the button up by tomorrow, and the shirts will be in my grubby paw by monday.
Yay!!!!

Saw this on FB yesterday and thought it was such a cool idea that I immediately went upstairs and made a prototype nursing cover; now I’m thinking you might be offended that I did that, it was your idea, after all! I was planning to sell a few in my etsy store to raise money for our local LLL and the Komen 3-Day I’m doing later this year. What do you think?
That’s awesome! I’ve been knitting and selling these for YEARS! Since my now 6-year old was nursing.
;o) Hopefully some traffic will head your way!

Heather
